In dynamic road conditions with intense lighting and fast vehicle movement, this dash cam fully utilises its sensor to precisely control light, allowing the dashcam to capture every moment in sharp detail.
Designed for low-light performance, Super Night Vision 4.0 uses Sony’s STARVIS 2 sensor and advanced tuning to brighten dark scenes while preserving detail. Nighttime drives are recorded with clean, well-balanced visuals — even on dimly lit roads.

Parking mode is a feature of dash cams that are either hardwired or using the OBD2 Connector. This allows them to continue recording while your car is parked and turned off. All Thinkware dashcams continuously monitor the health of the vehicle’s battery and will shut down if it detects any issues.
Please note: A hardwire or OBDII cable installation is required for Parking Mode functionality
Energy Saving mode 2.0 takes energy saving efficiency to the next level and increases the total duration of the dash cam’s Parking Surveillance mode up to 2 times.
Records at 2 frames per second (fps), enabling the dash cam to capture long durations of continuous footage while keeping power consumption low.
Automatically switches to low-power mode in high temperatures, recording impacts only until normal Parking mode can resume.
The U3000 PRO features dual built-in RADAR sensors that monitor your vehicle while it is parked. If motion or an impact is detected, the system instantly activates to record a 20-second buffered clip. This advanced, energy-efficient feature delivers parking surveillance over 20 times longer than standard Motion & Impact Detection, giving you reliable protection and total peace of mind. Hardwiring or the included THINKWARE OBD-II cable is required for operation (OBD-II cable included).
Prevent heat-related damage by automatically switching the U3000 PRO to a low-power mode if the temperature inside the vehicle gets too high during Parking mode. In this state, the dash cam records incidents triggered by impacts only until its operating temperature is safe again to resume Motion Detection or Time Lapse Parking Mode.
* If set to Energy Saving mode, the dash cam’s operation does not change and continues to monitor for impacts even if the temperature exceeds 65 degrees
Using its GPS, the dash cam tracks your vehicle’s speed and time data, providing alerts for upcoming red light and speed cameras.*

With GPS, all Thinkware dash cams can record the vehicle’s driving speed and provide its precise location and routes identification on the map. The GPS Tracker helps you to accurately assess the details of the surrounding area. The PC/Mac viewer can then provide you with the vehicle speed and the time of a collision, and the severity of any impacts.
The intuitive and simple-to-use interface of Thinkware Dash Cam allows you an easy and convenient viewing of your recorded videos. Through PC or Mac viewer, you can playback and download recorded videos. You can also change the dash cam settings, format the memory card, or install updates with just a few clicks on the viewer.
