Record night drives with true colors and minimal noise thanks to Thinkwares latest advancements in low-light recording technology that surpasses its predecessors’ night time performance. The X1000 uses a combination of Digital Overlap High Dynamic Range (DOL HDR) and Noise Reduction technology to effectively reduce noise and lens flare effects that typically affect nighttime footage.
156-degree Front & Rear Viewing Angles
Boasting an innovative custom lens design, the X1000’s focus has been tuned digitally to minimize distortion without compromising the 156-degree wide angle view, and a blue filter often found in premium smartphones has been incorporated to allow even more light to be absorbed by the image sensor, resulting in cleaner and sharper images.
Dewarping technology allows the X1000’s front and rear cameras to deliver an impeccable image of the road with minimal distortion, while the lens optimization design takes into account the tint and angle of the windshield/rear window to further enhance the overall image quality.
Parking Surveillance Mode
With hardwiring installation, enjoy parking protection against potential mishaps and hit-and-runs by capturing footage when an impact or motion is detected (hardwiring cable accessory included).
By reducing the recording frame rate to 2 fps, Time Lapse in Parking Surveillance mode enables the dash cam to record up to 7 times more footage compared to regular motion and impact detection Parking Surveillance mode.
Energy Saving Mode 2.0
By only providing minimal power to essential components while in Parking Surveillance mode, Thinkware’s proprietary Energy Saving 2.0 technology sets the bar high among its competitors by enabling the X1000 to remain on standby for about 576 hours*, or 24 days, while the vehicle’s ignition is off.
Monitor and capture any motion around the vehicle for potential vandalism attempts.

Advanced Driver Assistance System
Advanced Driver Assistance System helps you stay safe on the road with alerts for lane departures, front vehicle departures and potential forward collisions (optional GPS antenna required).
Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)
Drowsy or distracted driving greatly increases the chance of an accident on the road. The Lane Departure Warning System will alert the driver when the vehicle goes off lane in a speed over 50 km/h.
Front Vehicle Departure Warning (FVDW)
Accidents can be avoided by maintaining a safe following distance. Road Safety Warning System in the X1000 calculates the real-time distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you, while driving above 30 km/h in expressways or under 30 km/h in a busy city, and issues a 3-level early warning to the driver depending on the danger of collision.
Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS/ uFCWS)
When your car is stopped at an intersection or in traffic, the intelligent guidance system informs you that the vehicle in front has started to move, preventing a delayed response just in case you stop looking ahead.y
Crystal Clear Viewing on the IPS panel
Conveniently adjust settings or review footage with the X1000’s 3.5” LCD touchscreen. The touchscreen features an IPS panel that makes viewing easy from any viewing angle and at any time of the day.
Anti-File Corruption technology with Format Free 2.0 improves the reliability and extends the lifespan of your Thinkware memory card by minimizing the risk of loss footage due to bad blocks and data corruption, thus also eliminating the need to periodically format the card.
