Capturing Full HD 1080p footage, this camera records the vehicle’s cabin with excellent clarity, making it ideal for drivers who require interior monitoring such as ride-share drivers, taxi operators, and fleet managers. The camera records in full colour during the day, while built-in infrared illumination allows it to capture clear footage in very low-light or night time conditions.
Clear Day and Night Recording
Equipped with 940 nm infrared LEDs, the camera illuminates the interior of the vehicle in extremely dark environments without distracting passengers. This ensures consistently bright, detailed video regardless of lighting conditions, delivering reliable recording both day and night.
Extra-Wide Interior Coverage
The camera features a 160-degree wide-angle field of view, providing extensive coverage of the vehicle’s cabin. This wider perspective helps capture more of the interior environment, helping improve safety, security, and accountability for both drivers and passengers.
Flexible System Integration
When connected directly to a compatible Thinkware dash cam, the main unit can support one additional camera accessory. This means you can connect either a Rear View Camera or the Interior Infrared Cabin Camera, but not both at the same time.
For more advanced setups, the camera is also compatible with the Thinkware Multiplexer Box, allowing it to be integrated into a multi-channel recording system. This is ideal for commercial vehicles or fleet applications where multiple camera angles are required.
