Thinkware now offers a professional mobile installation service for your Thinkware dash camera’s Battery pack. Simply purchase this item when purchasing your Dash Cam install voucher and a Thinkware Battery Voucher will be dispatched. Once you receive this then simply log on to our online installation website HERE and fill out a simple form with your 2 preferred dates. We will then contact you to either confirm or offer alternative dates that best suit you.

Note: The product we would be installing needs to be new and unopened

 

  • THINKWARE BATTERY INSTALLATION – Thinkware Add-on voucher for the Thinkware BAB-50HW Battery Pack (can only be used in conjunction with the Thinkware Dash Cams installation Voucher)
  • NO RINGING AROUND FOR QUOTES AND DATES – Simply order this add-on voucher when purchasing a Thinkware Dashcam Install voucher and our engineers will fit your BAB-50HW battery when fitting your dash cam
  • INDUSTRY APPROVED INSTALLATION & 1 YEAR WARRANTY – Fully insured and installed to industry approved FITAS FCS1362 installation standards, supplied with a 1 year warranty on labour
  • NO NEED TO TRAVEL – Convenient mobile installation service. A fully trained engineer will travel to a location of your choosing to install your New Thinkware Battery (Must have a safe location to work such as a Driveway)
  • DASHCAM INSTALLATIONS VOUCHER REQUIRED – The battery voucher is an add-on service that requires the purchase of the Thinkware Dashcam installations voucher and cannot be used separately

 

Installation Conditions

NEW UNITS ONLY We can only offer the installation of NEW, UNUSED Thinkware Batteries that have been purchased with the Hardwire cable. If you have the Cigarette plug version then you will need to purchase the Hardwire cable separately.
OFF-ROAD ONLY Our engineers can only work in a Safe Off-Road environment, we will not be able to work by the side of a road under any circumstances.
REMOTE LOCATIONS If you live in a remote location then we may not offer the 10-day timescale, however we will work with you to find the best suitable date
WEEKENDS Our engineers do work weekends however as these are a desirable date we cannot confirm that these days will be available within the 10-day timescale however we will work with you to find the best suitable date
BAD WEATHER We may need to reorganise the installation due to adverse weather conditions, however we will contact you at the time to assess the situation
CANCELLATIONS We require 1 working days notice of a cancellation, should you cancel on the day then a cancellation fee will sadly have to be charged.
ADD-ON SERVICE The battery voucher is an add-on service that requires the purchase of the Dashcam installations voucher and cannot be used separately
EXPIRY Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase date.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can you fit the Battery at my work address? Providing you have the property owner’s consent and it is off-road then we can fit the Battery at most locations.
  • How much notice do I have to give you to amend the installation date? We require 1 Full working day’s notice. Should you cancel on the day then a cancellation fee will sadly have to be charged before any work can take place.
  • I have purchased the plug-and-play version can you install this? You will need to purchase the Hardwire lead separately and then we can offer installation.
  • How long until you can install my Battery? We aim to have the installation completed within 10 days, however, some remote locations may require more planning, this will be discussed with you once you have entered your preferred dates.
  • Will the wires be on show? Our engineers will hide the wires behind the vehicle’s trim.
  • Where on the vehicle will you fit the battery? Our engineers will discuss the options with you on the day, but one of the most common placements is under the passenger seat.
  • Can you fit the battery at a later date to the dashcam? This voucher covers the installation of the battery to be taken place at the same time as the dashcam. Should you require a different date for the dashcam installation then an additional fee will need to be charged.
