How To Setup
Only takes a few easy steps:
1. Start by turning on your vehicle’s ignition to activate the dash cam in Continuous Recording Mode.
Ensure you are inside the vehicle with the ignition on to enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections.
2. Open the Thinkware Dash Cam Link App on your smartphone.
- Go to ① Dashcam Registration > ② Select your Dashcam Model
3. Press and hold the Communication or Wi-Fi Button on the dash cam for more than 3 seconds. When the LED light indicator starts blinking rapidly and you hear a sound, it’s ready for connection.
In the Thinkware Dash Cam Link app, click on ③ Bluetooth Connection. When prompted to allow Bluetooth pairing, click ④ Pair to proceed. Wait until you see the message ⑤ “Registration complete.”
Ensure to allow the Dash Cam Link app to use Bluetooth by selecting “Pair.”
4. Choose the language for your dash cam, then click ⑥ “Next”.
5. Select the correct time zone then hit ⑦ “Next”.
6. Select the correct country/ region you’re in then hit ⑧ “Done“.
Well done! Your dash cam is now successfully connected via Bluetooth. You can now conveniently access the dash cam’s settings and information through the Thinkware Dash Cam Link App.
